Tanaman obat juga sangat digalakan untuk suatu langkah yang ditempuh dalam praktek penyembuhan suatu penyakit pada tubuh. Berdasarkan dari sakit pada tubuh perlu kiranya untuk mengobati dengan sesuai cara yang ditempuh. Berikut ini terdapat tanaman yang memiliki khasiat bagi tubuh seseorang yaitu tanaman obat temu lawak.

Tanaman obat temulawak merupakan sebagai tanaman obat yang dikelompokan pada kelompok tanaman umbi- umbian yang hidup liar seperti pada daerah pegunungan dan pada umumnya sebagai suatu bahan untuk membuat jamu.

Dalam mengobati penyakit serta banyak berbagai cara yang dilakukan tanaman obat temu lawak sangat bagus dalam pengobatan, berikut ini cara dalam meramu temu lawak dalam mengobati suatu penyakit pada tubuh, antara lain :

Dimanfaatkan untuk obat sakit pinggang
Bahan yang digunakan adalah : 1 rimpang temulawak, 1 rimpang kunyit, segenggam daun kumis kucing.
Cara meramu atau membuat : Memerlukan satu liter air untuk merebus semua bahan kemudian disaring dan diminum dengan segelas setiap hari.

Dimanfaatkan untuk obat sakit kepala serta masuk angin 
Bahan yang digunakan  : Bahan temu lawak secukupnya
Cara meramu untuk obat : Dilakukan pencucian pada temu lawak, dipotong tipis dan dijemur serta dikeringkan. kemudian rebus 4 sendok tepung temulawak serta dengan 4 gelas air hingga mendidih dan tersisa 3 gelas air dan selanjutnya disaring dan diminum sewaktu hangat.

Bahan yang digunakan : 1 rimpang temu lawak
Cara untuk meramu dengan mencuci bersih temulawak dan potong tipis- tipis kemudian rebus dengan 5 gelas air hingga mendidih kemudian disaring dan diminum dengan segelas air sehari.

Dimanfaatkan untuk obat sembelit
Bahan yang digunakan adalah 1 rimpang temulawak dan biji sawi.
Cara meramu untuk obat adalah dengan menumbuk temulawak serta biji sawi hingga halus yang kemudian diseduh air panas, disaring serta diminum pada waktu masih hangat.
